Prayer Diary

I lift up my eyes to the hills;
from where is my help to come?
My help comes from the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:1-2

As we continue to live through the coronavirus crisis and look forward to a time when life feel more normal, it is natural to turn to God in prayer for ourselves, for our loved ones and for the pain we see on our screens.  It can be a great comfort to know that others are praying with us and for us - we are not on our own.  Here in this benefice, we have a daily prayer diary to help us pray through each week for our church friends, our villages and village life, and our nation and the needs of our hurting world (including those relating to Covid-19).

To download a copy of our prayer diary to use at home on a daily basis, please follow this LINK.

Do add in the names of your church friends so that you pray for each of them at least once a week (as they are praying for you).  Across the week, I will be praying for each one of our church members.

Do also feel free to add in - on the relevant days - the groups and gatherings you usually attend, holding these friends in your heart and before God in prayer on the days when you'd usually meet up.  Staying at home or at a safe distance from others does not mean that you cannot feel close to your friends.

If you have any specific prayer requests, do give me a call or send them through to me.  You can find my contact details by following this LINK.

May God bless you and your loved ones.
