The Revd Duncan Beet - Priest in Charge Duncan loves to teach the bible both in the context of worship and in one to ones and home groups, and to nurture people to be able to handle God's word confidently alone. He enjoys golf (when he can play), cricket, good wine, and being trampled by his eight year old son and 3 year old daughter(which they do all to often). He has been in the benefice 7 years and served his curacy in the LEP of Emmanuel Weston Favell running the church plant in the school at Rectory Farm. Prior to ordination he worked as a divorce laywer in Cambridge, London and Milton Keynes. He is married to Rebecca and has a son and daughter, and they all share the vicarage with a fat black cat.
Children's Worker Mrs Libby Thompson - Childrens Work leader Libby lives in Kettering and has long ties with the benefice she had some lovely red setters and a charming little boy. She is committed to ensuring that what ever age a child is they come to know the living Christ and share in the wider ministry of the church. She is supported by a great team
Mr Robert Barnes - Lay Leader Mr Douglas Muir - Lay Leader
Douglas is married to Fiona and has a daughter and twin sons. He works in the field of IT and runs the men's group in the parishes. He also preaches on a regular basis. Fiona is married to Douglas and with Becky Beet has led Omega (11-18yrs) Now she is part of the Kingdom Kids Team (3-11 years). She and Douglas were born in Scotland and are now settled in Sywell with their daughter and twin sons. Mrs Kate Payne - Parish Secretary and Administrator Kate sorts the Vicar out and does the admin in the benefice. She lives in Mears Ashby with her husband Richard and two crazy dogs. We also have a fantastic team of Wardens and other people that enables us to keep the show on the road Wardens Sywell with Overstone: Wardens are Mrs Maureen Coles & Mr Richard Harris (Deputy Wardens are Mr Neil Botteril and Mrs Margaret Welch) Mears Ashby : Mr Peter Corke & Mr Aubrey Payne
